The company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Shiva S. Patibanda, is well known in the CE industry and has successfully licensed VividLogic's software infrastructure to many of the leading CE devices. Shiva is also the Chairman of Home Audio Video interoperability (HAVi) and a Board member of the IEEE 1394 Trade Association. The VP of Engineering, Ram Balaraman, is also well known in the IEEE 1394 and CE industry and has co-authored a book on interoperability called “HAVi EXAMPLE BY EXAMPLE”. Ram also served as the editor of the open standard HAVi Java AP. Currently he is the Chairman of the HAVi Technical Steering committee and an active member of the IEEE 1394 Trade Association.
