Candidate will have an MS/ BS degree in Computer Sciences with 6-8 years experience in design & development of multi-threaded, non-blocking system/application software in Java/JNI, C and C++ on Windows, Linux and/or real-time Operating Systems. Candidates with experience developing software for any of the following will have an advantage:

• Developing low level device drivers
• Expertise in graphics rendering using 3GL, Direct Frame Buffer, Open GL, etc in embedded HDTV and STB
• Developing middleware components for OCAP and
• Developing middleware components for ATSC, CableCard, DOCSIS, Common Download, Closed Captioning, etc.

Junior/Senior Software Engineers will have an MTech/ BTech degree with 2-5 years relevant experience and will report to the Engineering Manager.

All open positions require experience in design & development of multi-threaded, non-blocking system/application software in C, C++, and Java on Windows, Linux and/ or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks and pSOS. Experience in Windows system programming or Windows device driver programming preferred. Experience developing IEEE 1394 device drivers, HAVi, OCAP or UPNP will be an added advantage.

Compensation is negotiable and not a limiting factor for the right candidate. The best performing technical minds will be sent to California when required.
